Nokia Lumia 930 microphone problem

Hello.

I got an issue with my Lumia 930 that i bought today.

 When i've got an incomming/outgoing call the person on the other end can't hear me, but i can hear them clearly. It works when i put the call on speaker, but i want to be able to call someone and not sharing the conversation with everyone around me.

So far i've done:

Soft reset

Hard reset

Nokia Software recovery tool

Does anyone have this issue?

Is there a fix for this or should i return it?

    How come in my case Cortana hears me fine hey Cortana hears fine. SMS and email hear me fine. But that's it. Anything else doesn't work. No video sound no speakerphone no voice recordings of any kind WhatsApp viber ....no any app with voice recognition feature works. Then how could it be the secondary mic issue but Cortana hears me. And SMS and email.

    My mic worked fine for the first few weeks but at some point it quit working, with all apps, video, notes, shazam, speakerphone, cortana could make out my words though. Only barely faintly could you hear audio in video playback. Anyways, I FIXED IT by jamming a toothpick into my headphone jack and wiggling it around multiple times and blew it out. Before I inspected it and it looked just fine, no dirt or lint, but  it worked. Apparently the trigger that tells the software to pull audio from the headphone mic gets stuck on, in turn disabling the onboard loud mic. Hope this works out for y'all great people!

    I wonder if they really solved the problem with newer units or simply disabled the defective microphone. That is, Lumia 930 has 4 mics, so they could simply apply an alternative wiring so one of the mics responds as the third and fourth mic. I'm still trying to find a way to test the existence of four mics, but I didn't find any app suitable for the task.

    Maybe I'll develop a simple app just for capturing and saving a file with 4 channels (or perhaps two files with two channels each), but I'm without time...

    The issue with my phone is FINALLY resolved - but what a long and painful journey. Initially the phone came back from repair with the same fault, but also with a large scratch in the screen! It went back again for repair (much to my protest) and have finally picked a working unit up. It seems they've swapped the phone out as it was accompanied by a letter stating "we either couldn't repair your phone or it would take too long".

    All software and firmware versions are the same as my previous phone, just IMEI is different. So yes, it looks like a hardware issue afterall as mic is working perfectly on this unit.

    Getting my phone replaced in Brazil, even under warranty, will be a long and painful pita.
