First of all, not everyone is on Windows 8, so for those having the problem with Windows 7 do you have different advice?
I find it hard to believe that you cannot replicate the same problem, as I have been on lots of other forums to find the same problem being reported and you can see from reading the 9 pages in this forum and by visiting others on the Internet that it is
certainly not an isolated problem.
I have spoken to lots of people about this now and tested it on multiple machines and the simple fact is that if you have IE11 installed and you copy a set of text (e.g. an email response template) into a new email message, the links lose their formatting.
You can see why this is from the earlier messages in this forum.
Would you like me to send you a video of this happening?
This is terrible for anyone using predesigned templates to reply to customers emails. It just isn't practical adding links manually on each email or replying individually when you deal with hundreds of enquiries!
For the record I have many machines running Windows 7 (A mixture of Pro and Ultimate) and have tried all possible updates and installing Essentials 2012...... None of this helps!!!!!!!!
The only current solution is uninstalling IE11. Can you offer a better one?
ps. There was a similar formatting problem in IE9 where it would remove paragraphs from pasted information and this was never fixed either.
