Windows 7 x64 bit very slow boot & performance

I have a windows 7 x64 bit with 6 gb ram installed and it boots very slow, and get a lot (and by that I mean A LOOOT) of freezes. Especially on Firefox/Waterfox (this might be software related, not the same problem as the OS one).

I have Malwarebytes installed and found no problems (except a PUP in a firefox file)

Select Export from the drop down list, name the file MrFauxProfileList, change the Save as type using the scroll to Text files and click the Save button.     Are you pressing the power button to resolve freezes with the result that the computer automatically shuts down and restarts?

    I have noticed these figures in your System Information summary:

    Installed Physical Memory (RAM)       6,00 GB

    Available Virtual Memory       7,47 GB              (later 5.96gb)

    The figures have me wondering whether RAM is being placed in Standby, not being released and the amount of free RAM becomes zero or near zero. When this happens the computer can become unresponsive. The figures suggest that your usage of RAM is relatively high.

    Please comment. In Windows 7 use Ctrl+Shift+Esc rather than Ctrl+Alt+Del. It gets you to Task Manager quicker. Select Task Manager, the Performance tab, Resource Monitor, and Memory tab. What are the figures for Hardware Reserved, In Use, Modified, Standby and Free?

    You are storing way too much on the 160gb C drive and the effects of crashes and Tune up Utilities will have done interminable damage. In my opinion, you should start over, avoiding ANY utility which promises to make your PC faster.. :-)

    That would be the last option. I have many installed programs that would be a BIG pain to reinstall, and I wouldn't have the same data/settings for them since it would also reset my registry.
