Windows 7 x64 bit very slow boot & performance

I have a windows 7 x64 bit with 6 gb ram installed and it boots very slow, and get a lot (and by that I mean A LOOOT) of freezes. Especially on Firefox/Waterfox (this might be software related, not the same problem as the OS one).

I have Malwarebytes installed and found no problems (except a PUP in a firefox file)

    Windows 7 presents several slow boot times for more than one reason.

    1. Always fully install Windows 7 with only one hard drive attached. Attaching more than one will sometimes see small parts of the OS wake-up process sprinkled around, slowing boot times.
    2. Turn off UEFI. Unless you're booting from a drive larger than 2TB, UEFI will slow you down with absolutely no benefit. Use legacy boot.
    3. There are issues with chipsets and Windows 7 causing oddball USB behavior resulting in BSOD, sleep and hibernation problems and bizarre boot issues. Make sure you're USB Root_Hub driver (USBeHCI) is above 6.1.7600.17514 and your motherboard BIOS is fresh. If no USB issues are present, let sleeping dogs lie.

    I had the same issue with a warhorse running an Intel LGA 2011 DX79SI MB; a 3960x CPU; 64 GB Avexir Ram and Intel 730 HD along with a 2TB Hitachi data drive. After disabling UEFI and reinstalling the OS with only the Intel HD attached, the big dog is barking in about 10 seconds.

    It was a new build with mostly old stock so it was fortunate that the reinstall was early. Following that I stopped or disabled more than a hundred unnecessary services and tasks (WIndows internal bloatware for lack of a better term) and the system sings.

    Please select Start, Control Panel, Performance Information and Tools. What are the sub-scores for each of the five components? Do the scores change if you re-run the assessment?

    To remove Outlook Add-ins select File, Options, Add-ins, click the Go button to the right of Manage (bottom of window), place the cursor on the Add-in and click the Remove button.

    I don't even have that menu entry, I use Microsoft Outlook 2007.

    Since it was calling for an SID for a temporary profile, I deleted the registry key. It might be related to some software that I found that tried to change my SID, but I found out it's not compatible with win7 midway throught the changing, so I stopped it. it created a lot of problems, especially the one that made my profile have guest access, making none of my user profiles have admin access. I fixed it throught the dual boot from Win8.1 with replacing the narrator with regedit and running it at startup before the login, and changing some part of the status I think of the profile to make it admin.

    anyway, since it involved SIDs it might be related.

    I don't remember installing Add-in Express, it doesn't show up in the uninstall programs list. that SID was for the TEMP user, so I deleted the registry key (since I know it is readded in case it's needed)
