Please reply to this thread and provide the following details: Make/Model of Device (Ex: Nokia Lumia 925) Country device was purchased in Mobile Operator if device is branded a specific operator (during boot up does it display a Mobile Operator logo?) The Manufacture ID for Device (Nokia Devices Only!) Note: To find the Manufacture ID, go to Settings -> Extras + Info -> More Info -> It should be the first row listed. I have a Lumia 735, manufacturer name RM-1038_1016, country purchased Australia, not branded, manufacture ID (configuration ID.?) 1016.00E991 and still can't update the phone with the error 8018830F as at 16/04/2016. FYI, I am generally very happy with the phone.

Right, I have followed this issue for months and NOTHING has fixed it for my old Windows phone. Actually an HTC but, before the Nokia buy out, branded as a Windows phone. A Windows phone that won't action a Windows update! Very well done Microsoft. What an awful, awful service, product and support. So, now, my next question. How do I unsubscribe from this woeful support thread? I am sick and tired of being emailed updates that are merely other people experiencing no joy in regards of getting their devices updated. Point me to the 'Unsubscribed' button (which is not immediately obvious as is the utterly unintuitive Microsoft way). Please. I have an android device now (it's a comparative dream), and I have rolled out Apple phones to my organisation (6000+ employees) as a result of this debacle.

I wanted to Update 2 instead. Because this phone already shipped in Update 1. I tried to reset it several times, update it several times in vain, I even tried to reset this using Windows Recovery Tool but it says I already have the latest software update install which contradicts what is my phone is saying, that I have a newer software update so it downloads right away when it detects WiFi. I believe it's Update 2. Please help my device. I just newly bought this last week. I bought a phone that wont update. Please help, I really wanted to get into Windows 10 Mobile, I am readying my phone to that update.
