Did not receive the Microsoft Account Verification Code

I am requested to verify my account, I insert the correct e-mail address for the verification, I am then requested to insert the code that I will receive via e-mail. I never get a code, I have been waiting 3 weeks for this code. does anybody have an answer to this problem ?

    Hi I purchased a new Lenovo computer and the Office Home & Student 2016. I have had difficulties downloading Office. I have tried the technical support on 1800 875 217 and they have installed Word etc but I am now unable to access the authentification code sent to an email address that is either not mine or is discontinued. how do I fix this? Can the code be sent to another email address?
