Did not receive the Microsoft Account Verification Code

I am requested to verify my account, I insert the correct e-mail address for the verification, I am then requested to insert the code that I will receive via e-mail. I never get a code, I have been waiting 3 weeks for this code. does anybody have an answer to this problem ?

    Thank you for letting this support group know. I think we will all sleep a little easier knowing that this process can - and indeed has - worked on at least one occasion. I will put Microsoft forward for an award as a result of this magnificent contribution to furthering the endeavours of the whole of humankind.
