I am not able to login. whenever i start my pc it shows"we couldn't complete the updates Undoing anges don't turn off your computer"
I am seeing this screen since 24 hrs.

Do you remember which Windows Updates you were trying to install?

Clean Boot: After troubleshooting in a Clean Boot state, make sure to place the computer back to Normal Startup Mode following the same link.

This is now the critical question that MS needs to answer. After trying every suggestion I could find on fixing the "We couldn't complete the updates" issue for over a year, the only thing left as I see it, is waiting for Windows 10. But if Windows 10 can't load because of the update problem, then it's time to copy my data over to a new machine with a Chrome OS. I'm also concerned that if MS cannot come up with a fix for the update problem in 8.1, will 10 be just as vulnerable to the problem?
I thought I would add to this. I've had this issue for about 12 months off and on with a restart required every other day. Shortly after upgrading from 8.0 to 8.1. Updates fail, finally is usable again after 30 minutes, 2 days later... same thing. I'm not reinstalling windows. I expect Microsoft to come up with a fix. Does upgrading to Windows 10 fix the problem? It is a serious bug in windows 8.1.
Seriously..... That is your resolution to this problem? Don't you think that many of us has tried installing one at a time already? I have had to go in and install all updates, individually around the two that don't work, just to keep the remaining updates after these two KB2976978 at 4.5MB and KB3000850 at 723.9MB. Avoiding these two and installing the rest until these are fixed or the free Windows 10 is released is all that we can hope for if we want to keep a Windows OS. I know for my other laptops and PCs, I will make sure that they have either Fedora (Linux) OS or Chrome OS on them as I despise Apple just as much or more as Windows. And Microsoft wonders why they are losing money to their competitors? Come on and open your damn eyes. Even the computer gurus that train through youTube are even dogging Windows OSs more than ever before. I should know, as I watch and use their information for school in computer technology courses. Yes, I am taking computer courses and still can't get my Windows to update properly either. Imagine that.
What is the deduction of this update problem? IT IS THAT MICROSOFT SOFTWARE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MICROSOFT SOFTWARE. !!!
