Clean Boot: After troubleshooting in a Clean Boot state, make sure to place the computer back to Normal Startup Mode following the same link.

I have been receiving automatic updates for several months. I don't have ilnformation about which update. All recent (about twelve) have not installed and the process automatically went to "undoing changes" each time locking me out for several hours. For over twelve hours I have been locked out with yellow screen stating don't turn off computer. I am completely locked out so I can't research or make any changes. I need a fix or remedy. My personal support group will not help me because they know it is a Microsoft issue.

The exact message I'm getting is: "We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes. Don't turn off your computer." It refers to this . . "(KB4038788)"
This long, time consuming process has happened a number of times over the last week, at shut-down and at start-up.
My "Update History"screen says this: "2017-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-based Systems (KB4038788)"
Please advise with current day remedy.

My computer has totally has totally, computer repair man took my home. The download for the the Windows 10 halfway through computer started acting wacky. He said over 2/3rd of hardrive was missing. This is the 3rd time this happened since January 2016. The first 2 times Lew replaced both C drive 16 gigs And D drive 1 TB.He felt since computer was over 12years that WINDOWS 10 shouldn't have been downloaded. That Windows shouldn't have solicited since of computer's age. That it was made for WINDOWS 8.
