Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant to be disabled

I got following error message while I log in to my windows account and only my account.

I tried to set Windows Live ID sign-In Assistant to manual start in Windows Services. it only works one time, once I start using Windows Live mail and log out and log back in then I get error messaged again. I tried to msconfig and uncheck Windows Live IS Sign-In that I do not see error message, but  Windows Live Mail cannot launch,

I use Windows 7 Home Premium version.

It looks like that it has something with Windows Live mail,

There was a problem that caused parts of the Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant to be disabled. You might not be able to sign in to Windows Live in some programs.     It looks like that Microsoft is unable to help us.

    It seems like that it is not a virus, since we did not instal anything before to get this message.

    Please let me know if you are interested to help ourselves to find a solution.

    We can get dome information together for example, what's kind applications we install on our machines, our machine system and version and locations,

    If you are interested for this, please leave message here that we work together to find a solution for this,

    For everyone still suffering,  I uninstalled Windows Live Essentials last year and the errors stopped. Microsoft don't care about it because they have changed their support services and the software.

    The only solution available is to remove the offending software.

    Hello,

    I now have this same issue as of yesterday. Win 7 64. I had not installed any new software, etc, as per others on the thread here. Very annoying to get this silly message.

    8 months and no solution. MS staff longer participating in this topic.

    Draw your own conclusions - i.e. it's never going to get fixed.

    Having same issues.  Please provide suggestions for proper fix ASAP.

    Still get the annoying error message at start-up.  Been able to kill that by setting service to 'manual'.  Bigger issue that started at same time is that Internet Explorer will not open!

    "Internet Explorer has stopped working.

    A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

    Any chance it is related to Skype?  Seemed to be a suggestion of that earlier in this thread.  I can't say for sure, but that may have been the last update that ran on my machine before issue started.

    I've removed the IE 11 update, so now back at version 10...still same problem.

    Fyi, I'm in Canada, so when I reset IE, it sets msn.ca (not msn.com) as my homepage.

    Thankfully Google Chrome is working.  Firefox is also busted.
