Class Action Lawsuit

I installed Windows 8.1 Preview some time ago (8.1 sucked), and later found out that upgrading to Windows 8.1 RT would force me to re-install everything. I wasn't okay with this, so I just decided to keep Windows 8.1 Preview (even if, understandably, support would later be cut); however, now it seems Microsoft made the crazy decision to FORCE everyone to upgrade BY RESTARTING THEIR PC EVERY 2 HOURS! WTH????  Anyway, so now they are literally forcing me to re-install everything, but what is worse is I can't even upgrade! The Windows store isn't working properly, and the download never finishes. The computer RESTARTS before it has a chance to finish (it's over 3GB), which apparently causes the download to restart (THE ONE TIME IT APPEARED TO BE WORKING). 

Anyway, I don't think this type of behavior from Microsoft would stand up in court (Windows could seriously be classified as MALWARE at this point), so if anyone is connected to some good lawyers, I think this would make for a great class action lawsuit...

BTW, I seem to remember a virus that would restart computers too...

Same thing with me. Except I'm using Windows 7, not Windows 8.1. If you think Windows 7 is better, it's not! In fact, whenever I try to open a file from my USB THE ENTIRE COMPUTER GETS INFECTED AND ALL PROGRAMS BECOME F(dover buzz)KING INCOMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS! I think I have to agree with you, although I personally like 8.1 better than 7. I feel bad for many people who have Windows and can't afford the Mac. If anyone's having problems with Office as well I would suggest use Google Apps because Microsoft is not going to get their act together with windows 7 ANYTIME soon! And, I know why you would classify Windows as Malware, and I can even see why. If Microsoft doesn't do anything about the matters of this problem soon, we will have to do something about it. I'm already forcing myself to switch from Office to Google Apps for the second time since Dec. 18 2014!

I'm sure the judge would be bald after pulling all the hair from his head lol. This is a very serious problem with 8.1. I feel sorry for MS vendors who have stock rooms full of 8.1 pc's. I wanted to upgrade from my Gateway netbook running XP and was all excited, however, after buying two HP "x2-k010rn"s from OfficeMax and finding out the audio stopped working after a day I returned both. They are the one's taking the real hit! Also tried an Asus Transformer, however, that lasted two days before the audio gave out and had to return it. Sure hope M$ fixes these problem before the whole pc industry goes chapter 7.

Thank you sbodea for the address. I will gladly send them a letter expressing my views as to the shoddy product (s) that has caused so much frustration, hours of wasted time trying to fix a problem they have caused, and not finding a solution yet.  If even the MS techs can't find and fix the problem how are we supposed to?  One tech that was supposed to be helping me was so stymied he made matters worse for me.  He had charge of my computer and formated it back to factory settings.  i LOST all of my programs I had installed.  All my bookmarks, favorites .files etc.   I  was ready to kill.... it took me hours to put things back to where I had them.  After all of that, I still had the problem of Limit Connection on the wifi.  It is not the fault of the computer mfg if they are bamboozled into using MS OS. I guess they trust MS (fools)  My friend has XP on his machine and I warn him not to upgrade, just get a good antivirus system.  Wish I had XP.  The worse thing MS could have asked me when I was on their help page.. would I fill out a survey.  I gave them a piece of my mind and very bad marks.

Following the letter I did list the complaints which I have not included here as you all know the complaints.

Looking at the following comments on your Community board, it appears that the Microsoft techs are adopting the same kind of attitude as our President. You create a system that’s a disaster but decide that the users are just disposable consumers so the BLANK with them. 

Look at these comments and see the following Letter that I sent to HP, Microsoft and AVG over a bad experience I had with 8.1. You should all be thanking HP for the hours they spent helping me with your system.
