I have done all that was recommended plus a few other tips from other forums and still the same result. I am hoping there will be a new version of the download coming that will solve this.

2013-12-06T10:59:06+00:00 I finally got it to work. I refreshed win8 and without updating downloaded and installed 8.1. Lost all my new apps and had to reinstall my programs.

2013-12-06T04:21:36+00:00 I went through 2 new computers trying to get win 8 to work. I gave up, trashed the Lenovos (i7, 1tb 5400 hd, 16 gig ram), and got a dell optiplex with win 7 64, 250 gig ssd, and 500 gig hybrid and 16 gig ram.
Reality...win 8 sucks
win 7 is solid
an ssd hard drive is what makes computing what we all fantasize it should be. I am finally working at my speed as opposed to my computer's speed. It's an amazing experience...Highly recommend it :)
