"New software update for Nokia X Dual SIM (RM-980): v. 1.2.4.1/1.2.4.21. This is a global release and available via OTA (Over-The-Air). Find the update instructions from here:http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/nokia-x-software-update/

Key changes compared to previous 1.1.2.2 SW version include:

  • Enjoy improved ease of use with the new app switcher - switch easily between open apps, or close apps with a single tap.
  • Instant access to your mail, calendar, and notes with Outlook.com and OneNote.
  • Updated Nokia Store - new design to help you find content more easily, and better integration with third-party stores.
  • New scrollable widgets, call reject with a message, contact search in the dialler, automatic uploading to OneDrive, and local calendar support.
  • General performance and usability improvements."

    Is the Nokia X V1.2.4.1 update available in India? if any one updated their devices..please let me know.

    Yesterday I had the same problem with my NOKIA XL.

    1.Delete bot the zip files(ie.,com.update.nokia folder)

    2.Do factory reset(back up ur data)

    3.settings>apps>manage apps>all>system updates>clear data

    4.download the update again

    5.follow the steps in previous post

    copy both files

    (one zip file will not install and the other one will instal ur sw)

    i downloaded the update for nokia x nd cant update...its showing error icon....i tried many times but no better result...iam from india....what to do
