Key changes compared to previous 1.1.2.2 SW version include:

  • Enjoy improved ease of use with the new app switcher - switch easily between open apps, or close apps with a single tap.
  • Instant access to your mail, calendar, and notes with Outlook.com and OneNote.
  • Updated Nokia Store - new design to help you find content more easily, and better integration with third-party stores.
  • New scrollable widgets, call reject with a message, contact search in the dialler, automatic uploading to OneDrive, and local calendar support.
  • General performance and usability improvements."

    when I updated the phone, during verification, it stopped. "software update" error icon appeared, I rebooted my phone. Update process continued, with optimisation of apps, update was successful.

    Good news, app switcher works with third party launcher even. because it works independent of launcher. ;)

    They really missed out fixing bugs.

    Whatsapp and whatsapp+ are third party applications. System software update hasn't has to do anything much with this.

    Thank you for the information. One more thing can be added regarding app switcher, that while on home screen, long pressing the back button executes the app switcher mode.

    No, my X hasn't got notification for it. But my XL has.
