    Thanks for your reply Jacob,

I don't have any other options of internet connections except this broadband stick so I think I have the same problem as you are BUT****here is a situation we differ:

EVERYTHING on my Windows 8 laptop works with my broadband connection (the People app, the OneNote app, the Weather app and web browsers) EXCEPT the Windows Store. Yeah, everything, including Windows Update. This error exclusively happens to my Windows Store.

I wonder if I'm the only one having this problem but anyway, thanks.

I tried re-installing using a different internet connection (this time, a Cable Internet connection), and I was able to install everything without fail.

I normally use a HSPA+ broadband connection to install Windows Store Apps. Previously it is working, but for some reason it always fails now. There are times when I could install an app, but that's a 50/50 chance.

It's bothering me, because when I do a speed test, I still get a 1Mbps/2Mbps speeds, sometimes even 4Mbps, but I am still unable to download.

The same happens when I do Windows Update. The same error  8020002e code. But when I connected to a Cable internet connection (which is only 1Mbps), I could finish the installation.,

    Try this one:

Hit Windows Key + R, type services.msc then hit Enter.

Find the DNS then tick "Stop" on the top left corner.

Thanks, I tried using CCleaner and reset Windows Store again but the problem persists. I also use a broadband stick and it can only connect to GPRS, EDGE, 3G, and HSDPA. Back then, I never had a problem downloading from the store with only an HSDPA connection. This problem appeared from nowhere. Any ideas?

    It's CCleaner.

Hey, and one thing I noticed on store. I am using a Broadband stick on connecting to internet. When the status of my connection is HSDPA, I can't download anything on store and it shows the 0x8020002e. But when it switches to HSPA+, it goes back to normal.

    Just check your internet connection.
