Original Title; I can't update or install windows 8 pro apps.
i've tried all of your methods but still not working. i troubleshoot the apps, create another microsoft account, creat a local account, clean the registry, refreshed, reset and reinstalled windows but the problem is still there. it says, Error code: 0x8020002e. i have a good internet connection.

I need an answer to this question also,i see these are a year old but if someone knows a solution please help, but i gotta make this end and use the store. i will find a solution and post results cause im not fitting to stop til i figure this out....

Lucky 4 those errors gone. mine no virus,no malware etc, with latest updates win8.1 update 1. I can only update through downloading standalone updates. that's manual installing updates and nothing fix. even tried using registry fix but nothing solved. maybe its the service provider of internet smartbroadband in my area is the problem. that's the last thing in my mind. even how many times I re install win8/win8.1 same results.
I used to have this problem with the worst case of Windows store not loading at all and keeps on resetting. However after a couple of Windows updates, it seems that my problem no longer exists.
Im experiencing this started from may until now june. this error 8020002E is annoying and im starting to give up. im using also a usb broadband connection and 3G cellphone as wifi hospot/ tethering wifi. I already tried almost every procedure fro windows update troubleshooter, app troubleshooter, ms account troubleshooter, reset winsock, tcp/ip, stop/start services of windows update/background intelligent service, deleting software distribution, sfc /scannow, DISM what ever, refresh, reset, format and reinstall win8.1, registry fix, antivirus scanning AVG/windows defender same result no found virus,malware,spyware etc. after loosing all my apps and programs because I cant install any app in window store or update via windows update in PC setting, but the only I can update my windows defender. im so frustrated now. I was happy back then when no errors every update. but now im just like using my genuine win8/win8.1 ASUS X102BA just like a windows 7. I really like win8.1 but so disappointing I cant play ASPHALT 8, SOULCRAFT etc because I cant download anything from windows store.
