how to delete the history of uninstalled apps in win 8 store

How? are not in tab My Apps and ther user see all apps he downloaded. User need manualy install apps again.

Are you sure that apps are installed automatically? I am not using App Store because I can`t remove or at least hide old apps so now I am not using it :)

First I mad BIG MISTAKE AND WHEN i install windows 8 I test 4 apps and I click install and then I search how to delete apps now :S I didnt find anything. From that day I didnt install any apps again :) and Im happy with that !

Like I say before if you use MS account only for connect to windows itd. and you dont have anything connected with MS account is only one way REMOVE ACCOUNT and create new one but then dont install any apps again anyway you dont need then they are not usefull maybe a few. Just first test it on your older account, if you like it install it on your new Account.

I hate Smartphones with Windows Phone they are so complicated. I have it almost latest smart phone and still no desktop :( All I see was apps everywhere I was unable to find anything really anything Android is alot alot alot alot more customized. I have 5 desktop.... left for internet connection apps and right for phone apps - middle is home screen Clock and 3 most used apps is perfect then I have folders etc. awesome. I will not buy WP even if MS pay me no way OS is to much complicated.

I was so close to buy Lumia 950 (Tested for 5 days) but I have LG with Android and when I see how complicated is WP I say no thanks I will buy Android. I really dont know why they dont made more desktop or for user to move apps in folders etc.

I really hope that Nokia will be alot alot better then Windows Phone because for me Nokia was number one for years 3310 +/- a have all. Then Microsoft made that wierd OS I say no thanks I will have Android is alo alot more customized. I sort my apps like Folder Office and inside I have all apps for office perfect All In One. Who is so stupid that will look apps by name :D Some app are on A others on C or M or Z I better have all same apps on one place Folder.

So Android is alot alot alot better the Windows Phone anywhere!

I had 2 games automatically installed when I reset windows, I hate both of them.

If you are using MS account only for Windows 8 just delete this account and create new one.

I know is only a few softwares developers who care for users and MS is not on the list :)

If you dont like this is only one way REMOVE YOUR ACCOUNT and CREATE NEW ONE and then dont install apps from Store!! If you do first test it on your older account and then install it on new one!

I am using Windows 8 from beta version how many apps I have - Installed 1 / History 10  :D I will not install apps without at least hide button!!

Why I dont have Windows Phone because doesnt have desktop!! This is the first reason.... I like to have my Primary desktop empty - clock + 2-3 apps . Desktops left/right for apps. Thats why I am using Android. I can sort my apps by folders etc.

Folder Games for Games

Folder Office for Office apps

etc.

Is alot better alot easy to find app etc.  Some apps have first letter A some G. And sorted by folders is awesome.

I AGREE ANOTHER REASON I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE MY WINDOWS PHONE AND WILL NEVER TELL ANYONE TO PURCHASE ONE. WORST PHONE IVE EVER HAD.

That is a horrible design decision.  Why not let the user decide if they want to keep a history or not?  Better yet, give the user the ability to flag apps as favorites or put apps on a 'wish list'.  It is a far better design strategy to give the user choices and control over how they wish to manage their data.  (I.e., app history)

I can't speak for everybody but, for myself, the reason those apps are uninstalled is because I tried them and didn't like them.  The design feature you speak of seems more like a "feature cut" decision was made and thus we are left with an inflexible product that is, by the way, grossly inferior to its competitors.  Worse than having a second-rate app store is one that, due to this design decision, discourages people from "experimenting" and trying out apps.  The consequence of "trying" an app is that you will have to deal with its existence cluttering up the "My Apps" part of the store.

In summary, give the end-user choice and control over their data.  Microsoft is too far behind the curve in this game to make rookie mistakes that their competitors have already overcome.  You need to be solid and, at least, on-par with your competition before you can hope that your "differentiating features" will be noticed and embraced.

Please, if you have any power to do so, submit a DCR to the engineering team to change this aspect of the service.
