Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

I would also like to state that I find the way it currently functions to be terrible. I have numerious old apps that no longer exist or are not supported (because devs are tired of terrible Microsoft support and you ignoring suggestions) and I can't remove these from my history and when I setup a new device it tries to download these BROKEN APPS!!

So my two choices are drop Microsoft and goto apple or google, or create a brand new account and start over.

    These are not good options.

PLEASE ADD THE ABILITY TO CONTROL YOUR APP HISTORY!!!!!!

I'm tired of this horrible user experience.

Windows phone is always the worst in everything! All the others have possibilities that Windows doesn't. Awful choice.

Very interesting point and you may be correct. Even though these apps are 'uninstalled' they are still active because we continue to receive updates for them.

This is really p***ing me off. I like to keep my computer clean. I only keep things I need on it (programs and files I am currently working on) every thing else goes onto a portable hard drive.

To not have to ability to remove something that I do not need, nor want, is inexcusable.
