Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

Agreed, although I expect there is some reason MS want to keep the History. Big companies don't listen to a few people (even if they are right).

Come on MS lets get some user control in the app store. if we want to delete the history because we're all OCD then help us

Just chipping in to say I'd been using windows 8.1 for a few days and loving it.

This has really changed my opinion.

I'm frankly disgusted that the user essentially has no control over this feature.

The result is simple.  I just wont use the app store any more.

Not until Microsoft changes policy anyway but judging by everything that people say about the company it doesn't seem likely.

    Massive own goal.

As far as I know there are no current plans to change this feature and probably won't be any time soon.  Hope this helps and if you need further assistance post and we will be glad to Help you.
