Oh, no!!!!
The Windows Store has been redesigned (once again; I think this is the third time) but nothing has changed about the possibility of removing the app history (the issue that users have been asking for being solved for the last year and a half).
We continue with the same problem.
Another missed opportunity.
at this point the only solution is not to buy anything from the shop ...
provided microsoft wants to keep the abysmal sales-figures of their stor as they are, they just need to keep it up and ignore the wishes of those few users who are actually interested in adopting their system.
but hey, why listen to customers when it comes to features here, they do not do this in any other case either:
- setting standard-language for apps?
nah who needs this it is perfectly fine to have an english version of the wp-sync app onyl but a tablet new-ui app that is fixed to the customers language ... who cares if pictures / music are copied in different folders, let the
customer manually fix this every time ...
- importing playlists to wp-sync tools from xbos music?
nah, we want you to buy music in our store, have them donwloaded into a folder you can not set and then set up playlists that are only useable there. if you want to import a playlist go to our old media player and build them there
... but be careful our xbox music app is too stupid to overwrite an existing playlist with the same name (or even ask which version to keep), let us just create copies ...
... seriously microsofts current product team comes across like the dropouts of a special needs class ...
