how to delete the history of uninstalled apps in win 8 store

Windows Phone 8.

In the store I have updates displayed for apps I uninstalled months ago.  There is no way to turn off the update notification. Am I to process an update for an uninstalled application?

As with every other poster on this thread and most likely the opinion of 95% of the entire smart phone community would agree, this is ridiculous.

I uninstalled the app. I intended for it to be completely removed.

Maintaining an uninstalled app list is OK.

Not providing the end user with an option to purge it from the device is not ideal.

Sending push notifications to update the application even though I have already uninstalled it, is ridiculous.

(Having recently started using Windows 8.1 on the PC, I also agree with many of the posters statements on this thread. Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.x had to have been designed by novices).

I like the Windows ecosystem, but I never recommend it to anyone who wants an intuitive interface.

The Windows Store has been redesigned (once again; I think this is the third time) but nothing has changed about the possibility of removing the app history (the issue that users have been asking for being solved for the last year and a half).

We continue with the same problem.

at this point the only solution is not to buy anything from the shop ...

provided microsoft wants to keep the abysmal sales-figures of their stor as they are, they just need to keep it up and ignore the wishes of those few users who are actually interested in adopting their system.

but hey, why listen to customers when it comes to features here, they do not do this in any other case either:

• setting standard-language for apps?

nah who needs this it is perfectly fine to have an english version of the wp-sync app onyl but a tablet new-ui app that is fixed to the customers language ... who cares if pictures / music are copied in different folders, let the customer manually fix this every time ...

• importing playlists to wp-sync tools from xbos music?

nah, we want you to buy music in our store, have them donwloaded into a folder you can not set and then set up playlists that are only useable there. if you want to import a playlist go to our old media player and build them there ... but be careful our xbox music app is too stupid to overwrite an existing playlist with the same name (or even ask which version to keep), let us just create copies ...

... seriously microsofts current product team comes across like the dropouts of a special needs class ...

yes well ...

i have installed (and bought) apps for windows 8.1 and phone and my surface up to now. there are several games i would like to try but am not sure if they are any good.

since i can not remove **** from my install history, i have decided not to give any apps a try, i will only install stuff that i laready know a lot about - e.g. vlc player once it comes out for arm-type windows. it is microsofts (literal) loss not mine at this point.

anyway at its current state the shop is close to unusable - the incentive programs to get app-developerst to put many apps on only lead to thousands of identical apps from the same developer with different names flooding the lists. you cannot find anything useful anyway at this point unless you know exactly what you are looking for.

p.s. thanks microsoft for being so up tight as to block s-h-i-t by the way and in addition for your auto-blocking killing all the structure of a post ... way to go, what a work of genius ...
