Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

    Another copy-paste answer.

It would be easier to change the design of the store and solve the problem.

True however it's just easier to not download any store apps.  In the past 9 months I have not looked at nor installed any Windows 8/8.1 apps from the Microsoft App Store.  It's as simple as that, either Microsoft fixed the problem or I just keep using the Desktop Apps which curiously enough, allow me to uninstall and remove their information from my system.  Remember Microsoft although you have license terms and conditions, I also have terms and conditions and it's my system.

I hate to say it but as a long time Widows User (going back to Windows 386/Windows NT 3.5 etc.)

this will probably be the last version of Windows I use.  All of the "Microsoft Account" BS and tracking my store usage ad-infinitum makes me want to go Open Source all the way.   As a small business owner your software is becoming less friendly to my way of doing business.
