On 6/24/2015, Volume Z posted the location of a zipped config.xml with the date hacked to year 2021. Find the post, download the file, unzip to the correct dir and the cache expiry problem is solved.
The location code is a different problem.

T & VZ,
Your advise may be good or correct, but you can't expect casual or unskilled Computer Users or visitors to this SIte to understand how to make these changes correctly, if they don't even know how to change the date of a file to a new one! They will more
likely than not do more harm to their Computer and OS than what you are trying to tell them to do to possibly fix it!!
It does take basic Computer knowledge about files to do any of these suggested fixes, so giving people more and more alternative ways to change/replace their files, etc, is just assuming too much that casual visitors here with no basic knowledge about file
handling will somehow be able to understand what you are talking about! The best advise for them is to take their Computer to some Geek at Best Buy or elsewhere to do the fix!
As an example, Vladimir (in a Post) can't get them to work and gives up and installs a newer MSM Weather App! He doesn't even understand that we or most are just trying to get MS Gadgets to work as installed by MS originally, but now are not supported by
MS, as they want you to upgrade to Win 10 and will not support or fix any Gadgets problem on Win Vista or Win 7/8! We all could easily find or install newer Weather Apps, but that is not the point as MS should be obligated to keep Gadgets working on still
supported OSs like Win Vista, 7 & 8!! Now, they have left it up to others to try and fix MSs' problems?? Casual Users only concern is that they want any available Weather Gadget/App that will work installed now, end of story! I hope you can get this, as
its getting amusing to see people try to train casual users in computer and file handling use remotely, that will only get a lot of people in more trouble!
