what is that mean?? how to solve it, does it effecting the video quality in my pc?

I had this problem and think I have found the cure.  Open up the Nvidia Control Panel (probably bottom right tasks bar) left hand side of control panel click on Phys configurations, click on automatic and change to GForce (if this is what your computer runs) click apply - hopefully this may cure your problems.  If not increase the power to your cpu,

Based on the issue description, it appears that you are getting an error video tdr failure on the computer.

To guide you in the right direction, I need a few more information from the computer that has the issue. Please help me answer the following questions:

1.      When do you get this error message?

2.      Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?

TDR is the Timeout, Detection, and Recoverycomponent in Windows. **** What happens is the Graphics Display driver for the installed graphics card stops responding. When this happens, windows will stop and restart the driver to fix the problem.

The most common reason for this issue is that the graphics device is being overloaded or used beyond its capabilities.

This happens most often when playing graphic intensive games, but can happen with any process that uses a large amount of graphic resources, such as when editing or creating videos.

Some things you can do to avoid these problems:

a. Make sure you are using the latest graphics device driver.

b. Manage your time working with programs that are graphic intensive, exit any other programs that might also use a large amount of resources.

I would suggest you to download and Install the latest graphic card drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check.

You can install Windows 7 drivers in compatibility mode if there are no Windows 8 compatible drivers.

Follow these steps:

a) Press the ‘Windows + W’ key on the keyboard.

b) Type compatibility in the search box and then press enter.

c) Click “Run programs made for previous versions of Windows” option from the list appeared in the left side.

d) Select the drivers and install.

    Hey Mr. Khan,

    I also have the same TDR_VIDEO_FAILURE, but I cannot access my computer due to the entity shutting down and restarting before I can login. What should I do?

    I also have this problem with since installing windows 10 pro.

    My system is Intel i7 - with Nvidia Geforce 750m 2gb graphics card with updated drivers.

    I never had this problem with Windows 8 Pro installed.

    As this seems to be happening across the board to hundreds of people running various systems I don't believe it is a driver issue more likely cause is the WIndows 10 Operating System having some kind of fatal flaw within its core.

    Seriously considering going back to Windows 8

    Hey;

        I am unsure; but I had three monitors connected to my PC when this issue was plaguing me (occurring every hour or so); but then I have removed one of my video cards and am only using 2 monitors. It appears to be working find now. It appeared that one of the cards that I had was very hot. So, this is why I am assuming it may be related to the temperature issue. I have not explored further since it stopped happening when I removed on of the video cards (identical SLI Nvidia cards).
