I had this problem and think I have found the cure. Open up the Nvidia Control Panel (probably bottom right tasks bar) left hand side of control panel click on Phys configurations, click on automatic and change to GForce (if this is what your computer runs) click apply - hopefully this may cure your problems. 2. Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?

TDR is the Timeout, Detection, and Recoverycomponent in Windows. **** What happens is the Graphics Display driver for the installed graphics card stops responding. When this happens, windows will stop and restart the driver to fix the problem.
The most common reason for this issue is that the graphics device is being overloaded or used beyond its capabilities.
This happens most often when playing graphic intensive games, but can happen with any process that uses a large amount of graphic resources, such as when editing or creating videos.
Some things you can do to avoid these problems:
a. Make sure you are using the latest graphics device driver.
b. Manage your time working with programs that are graphic intensive, exit any other programs that might also use a large amount of resources.
I would suggest you to download and Install the latest graphic card drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check.
You can install Windows 7 drivers in compatibility mode if there are no Windows 8 compatible drivers.
Follow these steps:
a) Press the ‘Windows + W’ key on the keyboard.
b) Type compatibility in the search box and then press enter.
c) Click “Run programs made for previous versions of Windows” option from the list appeared in the left side.
d) Select the drivers and install.

Troubleshooting in Control Panel didn't help. But, I am experimenting with a differing driver offered by AMD. So far I seem to be having some better luck although it is a beta driver. I always try to sleep my computer. Saving power (on a very tight budget right now) but need the computer at a moment's notice without waiting for booting up. Before trying a modified beta driver I just had to do the workaround of logging off before sleeping the computer. We'll see how it goes. Been having too much fun to get off the fast ring, though. There are issues here and there but these haven't been too troublesome other than making me wait when deleting or renaming files, and having to modify some settings for some other drivers. :-)
An AMD Driver with an Nvidia graphics card?????? No wonder you have problems! All this thread has referred to are Nvidia graphics cards.

I wish that had been the issue for me. I have a Corsair gaming PSU that was intended for multiple cards (however I am only using one at the moment), that can handle the current, but I still get the error. But, it is only when the computer has been slept while logged on. Otherwise I never see this error. This started a few builds ago on the fast ring but I never saw that error before in Windows 10 until the last few builds.
Obvious - don't Sleep (wish I could do without :) ).
Get off the fast ring and use good latest install of Windows 10.
Try Troubleshooting in Control Panel.
