I'm getting somewhat frequent BSODs these days.

WinDbg reports:

    Sure. I'll go for uninstalling them, but this won't change much over disabling them ;-)

    Notes:

    • Should I need Bluetooth at some point in the future, I'd need to find correct drivers... which might not just exist...
    • for some reason once the Widcomm software is uninstalled, the BT hardware doesn't get enumerated at all (it doesn't show up in Device Manager, either as devices with generic inbox drivers, or as devices with missing drivers...)

    Widcomm driver(s) may have been involved in the BSODs and uninstalling them would prevent them from loading.

    No, I haven't considered uninstalling the BT stack altogether.

    What would I gain compared to just disabling the stuff in Device Manager?

    Note that I some point I might need to use BT again, which would require non-BSODing drivers...

    No I don't have a DevCon.exe in c:/Windows.

    Have you considered uninstalling the Widcomm Bluetooth software?
