task manager not starting error "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000006"

I have been hearing the Fans speed up to medium and High speed when I am doing nothing that would require any heavy duty resources. I tried both control-alt-delete and  right clicking in the taskbar, and it fails to start up. "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000006). Click on OK to terminate the application." I click on OK and it pops up again then I click on OK again and it goes away. 

I have run AVG and Spybot in safe mode with networking but nothing detected.... and have cleared my page file memory also.

Is it just corrupted or do I have a bug/virus.

That's good. What I meant is that in order for YOU to see the file, you need to be able to see hidden and system files. Windows however will see the file no matter if YOU can see it or not.

In autoruns I beleive you did not click on "options", then "Filter Options"

Make sure all boxes are cleared in "Filter Options".

Tommorrow I would like for you to delete the task manager in HP-infected. And copy the task manager from Dell2 to HP-infected. Just in case the task manager was infected and actually starting up the malware.

    Autoruns saves it in its own format instead of text format. If you do not wish to email me in then you will have to find an online database where you can upload a file and give me the link to it.

    Sorry for the confusion,

    C:\Documents and Settings\Lawerance\Application Data\Spotify\Data\SpotifyWebHelper.exe

     is a seperate entry.

    "Spotify is a music streaming service with desktop applications available for Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.."

    Does that sound like something you may have installed?

    And malware bytes is running currently.

    So Quicken is a legit program that you use correct?

    It is currently running in the background.

    I still need you to run autoruns.exe and get me a log from that.

    It would be good to start fresh and see if any problems persist. Since Spy bot SD did find infections and removed them, some of your antivirus programs may not be working properly.

    I will give you instructions on how to do so.

    I did the Autoruns test and have the results but I cannot copy and paste it here and I don't know how to send the "results file" to this forum...???

    Quicken Load DLLs Intuit C:\Program Files\QUICKENW\QWDLLS.EXE

    C:\Documents and Settings\Lawerance\Application Data\Spotify\Data\SpotifyWebHelper.exe

    Quicken does look suspicious with the "Spotify web helper"?? in the entry ! I think Quicken may always run in the background - but I know nothing. If it has hacked all my Quiken files then it has GOT MEm and all my account info for past 12 years ! ! !

    Yes I have Malware-bytes, AVGfree, and Spy Bot SD. I thought I could use Malware bytes only in Safe mode and always have Avg running. Not sure if Malware is running all the time like Avg.

    Spybot SD - I was told that I can run Spybot with my Avg and there would be no conflicts. I just added Spybot last week when all this hit the fan. I've had Avg and Malware Bytes for years.

    Google Chrome - I do not know if I had it open while I did the tests I don't think I did - but I have been using it most of the day today, like now, to reply to this forum and check my emails.

    If you'd like me to run another test I will - just tell me what exe you want me to run and I will be sure I do not have a browser active.

    I can delete/uninstall  Malware Bytes - if I can keep Avg and Spybot.
