Possibly, but my previous issues with SkyDrive syncing have been resolved. It's still not as good as Live Mesh was, but there we are. The PowerDVD app is the first I've seen that exhibits this issue. Whether it's Cyberlink or Microsoft, something about this app on Windows 8.1 does not account for the My Pictures being pointed at SkyDrive. I could understand it if the SkyDrive files were "dehydrated" on this machine (as vasudev refers to them), but my SkyDrive photos directory is "hydrated".
I guess you should contact Cyberlink. Nothing makes up for Microsoft removing the features people loved. The Cyberlink app/solution may help some people, which is why I posted it. But I won't get in to supporting their app.
