Hi Jordan, The Photo app displays all the pictures that are included in the pictures Library. If you want to add pictures that are saved in other locations, you can just include them in your pictures library and it will automatically added to the Photo app. Just right click on any folder that you would like to add and select “Include in Library” and then select “pictures”. Now, this folder will be automatically displayed in the Photo app. This may work for regular folders but it doesn't appear to work for network locations. When you have a network location in a library the photos app crashes whenever you select something in the app.

I was just looking to see the file location for the Photos app and found it in C:\Windows\FileManager . That folder also contains the "File Explorer" app that oddly shows on the Start Screen as "SkyDrive". Why these apps would need to share resources, I'm not sure. It does appear that when browsing Photos in the "File Explorer" app you get the same options to edit a photo as in the "Photos" app so it seems they at least share that part.

We don't know if this is a bug (but my OPINION is that if it were, that MS would have been quick to respond that it was a bug (or should have been quick with a response). Hi Jordan,

The Photo app displays all the pictures that are included in the pictures Library. If you want to add pictures that are saved in other locations, you can just include them in your pictures library and it will automatically added to the Photo app. Just right click on any folder that you would like to add and select “Include in Library” and then select “pictures”. Now, this folder will be automatically displayed in the Photo app.

This may work for regular folders but it doesn't appear to work for network locations.

When you have a network location in a library the photos app crashes whenever you select something in the app.

It looks like Bennet does not understand what this thread is about.
