Yeah, that'll do. That's two things that worked for you that have not worked for me. Changing the location of my pictures folder in This PC did not result in the pictures in this new location showing up in the Photos app. However I did point it to SkyDrive (where my offline pictures are stored). Adding the SkyDrive pictures location to the Pictures library did not bring those pictures into the app either. There's clearly something different (better) about your 8.1 system. Different build?

Just curious which of us are running full 8.1 and which are RT and if the problem is the same in both environments. I am running RT and have no navigation other than "This PC" no matter what I try. I hope this is all just a bug that they will fix, but I am not optimistic about the loss of features... Thanks

Build number is 9431 Only thing I can think of is I have installed a couple of Windows Updates since upgrading to Windows 8.1. Not sure if they affected anything.

Has this been mentioned, but in addition to supporting Facebook and Flickr, I'd like to see the App extended to include the many other online photo libraries that people use. A single App which allowed me to merge those libraries, that would be very nice. A similar approach which allowed the unification all those messaging, video, and music empires would also be something I, and I think many users, would appreciate. If indeed it did happen, I could understand why Facebook asked this feature to be remove. They would like their App to control the "User Experience" of the Facebook user. But if it had to be a choice, I would rather have the integrated hub than a specific Facebook App.
