Way to screw-up Microsoft... come up with a feature better than your competitors then toss it and **** off your fans. When you put it like that, it sounds pretty typical of them really. :D

This is an unacceptable response. taking away Flickr and Facebook is one thing, but taking away home grouping or networked devices is a huge step backwards. If you have a large photo or music library you don't have the storage on the surface rt harddrive.

I have the same problem. To make matters worse, it does not access anything pictures on my computer as well. On top of that, the App does not have an Uninstall charm, as I was hoping to uninstall and reinstall. The App is dead in the water, just giving me a message it could locate no photos.

Photos App in 8.1 loses most of its best features e.g. Facebook/Flickr support...
