How do I fix "Error Loading Player: No playable sources found

Update Version 9.0.12

    This fix did not help on my Windows 7 Home Premium and IE version eleven (11).  Most annoying.  I must be doing something wrong.  It may help you to know I just installed this new desktop computer (Lenovo Idea 410) and ViewSonic monitor.  Using HDMI cable. Maybe that's the problem?

    I am on internet explorer trying to watch live sports streaming when error message appears  I have recently refreshed my pc  the problem started  after refreshing
