I am using VLC media player and this problem just started two days ago. I thought my window is corrupt and I bought a new window online but all attempt to burn it and do the re-installation is without success. Thank you in anticipation of a positive response.

Hi, when I started experiencing this player error, I tried to download this flash player but it always get half way and stop with the instruction to close all my open explorer but even after this, it stillstop hafway with the same instruction. I will appreciate your incite, thank you.

Hi,

Sorry but not being an expert, I can only make a few suggestions trying again. I hope that one tip may work.

Before you start, reboot the computer.

Uninstall old versions of Adobe player.

Reboot the computer

Install latest version of Adobe Flash player

When finished reboot again.

I make an assumption that your internet connection is fine and works ok downloading from other safe sites.

Make sure you only download from Adobe site - and also use the appropriate version.

For example: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ should bring you to Version 23.0.0.162 (2016-09-29)

Applicable to:
- 2.33GHz or faster x86-compatible processor, or Intel® Atom™ 1.6GHz or faster processor for netbooks
- 32- and 64-bit (unless noted): Microsoft® Windows® XP (32-bit), Windows Vista® (32-bit), Windows 7, Windows 8.x and Windows 10
- Internet Explorer 8.0 or later, latest versions of Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera
- 512MB of RAM (1GB of RAM recommended for netbooks); 128MB of graphics memory
I use Windows 10, and my download file from there works with both Edge and Mozilla Firefox. I have not tried Internet Explorer.

Finally, if that doesn't work then run Malwarebytes (the free version is fine) to check for Malware that might be interfereing with the processes on your computer. Malwarebytes will usually not interfere with any antivirus program you have installed, and I like it. ( I am retired and genuinely get nothing for saying this)

More than that I could not say from my experiences, and you are in the right place to get good responses, and probably a MS volunteer agent could take you down a diagnostic path to locate the issue. You may need to make a fresh post here if your post does not get responses and is not near the last few questions.
