How do I fix "Error Loading Player: No playable sources found

I am using IE9 version  9.0.8112.16421

Update Version 9.0.12

    am trying to open the tv station channel 12 out of Winston salem, NC.  have turned computed off and back on, will not come on.  new computer using internet exp 11 and windows 10 this is getting ridiculous...so many error types on so many pages.

    I know it's three years later, but if anyone is looking for a cure please ensure that the latest Flash Player is installed (from the Adobe site!) and is running.

    It worked for me with online TV stations and the BBC webiste, and I hope it may help someone else. 

    If so, please post 'Installing Flash Player worked for me' here.
