Why two Windows Folders in Local Disc?

I can't find anything to help and I am afraid I have had enough now. I have decided I am going to scrap my XP and buy am Apple iMac and I just wanted to thank you for your help and perserverence. Best wishes. Brian

It might, but I do not know how to set up the network properly, which is why I suggested you post in Vista and label your question "Proper network setup with XP and Vista".

It might be why xp is not working, please check at the vista forum.

I don't have a problem with the operation of my Vista. When I disconnect it, it makes no difference to XP. I just wondered if, considering the Network Icons and settings showing on XP, whether they were correct.
