Windows volume shortcut

Hello. 

                Is it possible to control the master volume with some keyboard shortcut? I would prefer it to be without a use of some additional software.But if it isn't possible then the software should be pretty light-weight and not consume a lot of CPU/RAM.  Thank you for your help. 

  PS: I DON'T intend to buy a multimedia keyboard for that.

Yes,you can create a Master Volume Shortcut and also assign a Shortcut Key.

Right click on a empty area on desktop, and click on New and Shortcut.

Paste the following in to the location of the item area:-

%windir%\System32\SndVol.exe -f 49825268Click Next button and give a name to the Shortcut and click Finish.

Now You right click on it and select Properties.

Click Shortcut tab.

Assign your desired shortcut key like F8 or F9 in the Shortcut Key area.

Click OK/Apply.

    Hi,

    Absolutely love your app but could you make the volume increments smaller? I listen to music a lot at night through headphones but need low volumes because I have tinnitus. So basically using your app, the first increment after volume 0 is too loud and I have to adjust it manually to bring it down. If there were two or three increments for every one that already exists, your app would be perfect.

    Fantastic work, thanks! Have thumbed...

    Only issue I've got with it now is that it asks to be closed every time I want to shutdown. Can I get the app to close automatically on shutdown with an option in W7? If there isn't, having it close automatically when I want it to shutdown will make it an excellent tool.
