Windows volume shortcut

Hello. 

                Is it possible to control the master volume with some keyboard shortcut? I would prefer it to be without a use of some additional software.But if it isn't possible then the software should be pretty light-weight and not consume a lot of CPU/RAM.  Thank you for your help. 

  PS: I DON'T intend to buy a multimedia keyboard for that.

Yes,you can create a Master Volume Shortcut and also assign a Shortcut Key.

Right click on a empty area on desktop, and click on New and Shortcut.

Paste the following in to the location of the item area:-

%windir%\System32\SndVol.exe -f 49825268Click Next button and give a name to the Shortcut and click Finish.

Now You right click on it and select Properties.

Click Shortcut tab.

Assign your desired shortcut key like F8 or F9 in the Shortcut Key area.

Click OK/Apply.

    So this is the " supposed "shortcut" to what should be a simple matter; keyboard volume controls. Then again, this is Microsoft where nothing is simple , easy, and straightforward.

    Hit hotkey, then up or dn buttons.

    No mouse or special kybd reqd.

    You can use this script, created by me with the help of Auto hotkey (www.autohotkey.com)

    Usage :

    1. Dowload Volume Control.exe from   http://www.mediafire.com/download/8b2new16ndo6dob/Volume%20Control.exe

    2.Open the Volume Control (nothing seems to be happened)

    1. To control with keyboard

    Page Up = Volume +

    Page Down = Volume -

    1. To control with Mouse

    Hold the right - click button of mouse and roll the wheel up and down to raise or lower the volume

    Hey, can u make this without the mouse control? i just want page up and down for the volume.
