These three updates are trying to be reinstalled over and over again. Replicable on both PCs
The updates are trying to be install over and over again. Every time I click "check for updates," there it appears again.

Update 1: I have tried restarting the PC. Nothing. I have also tried FixIt when trying to troubleshoot Windows Update errors. Still nothing. The FixIt simply "runs" till the end and then says "finish." It did not offer to fix anything.
Windows 7 X64 SP1 with Norton Internet Security 2013 (version 20).

Update 5: I did not have to do anything on my part (like re-install updates), so it's probably a detection issue on Microsoft's part.

I just Facebooked Microsoft about an update on the Patching status of Office Products. It didn't last a second before it was removed. Can't understand why they won't acknowledge there is a problem and immediately delete anything tweeted or facebooked about the issue. Poor business. Just admit the mistake and keep us in the loop.
I doubt this forum is monitored, but just in case I'm having the same issue. Didn't just do this a few months ago?
Assuming all three (3) updates are listed in Installed Updates, feel free to hide them & move on with your life.

My problem with just hiding these is I have no confirmation from MS that these patches are truly remediating the vulnerabilities. Hiding the updates is like disabling the check engine light on your car. You may not have to look at the annoying glowing light anymore, but that doesn't mean the underlying problem is gone. Not until your mechanic says so, anyway. In this case your mechanic is Microsoft, and AFAIK they have yet to confirm these patches work as they intended.
I seldom find "appropriate support" on any MS web site. When I contacted MS about this issue, the reply was, "There is not a problem with the updates." Then I was advised to scan my system for malware because the problem was on my system.

I'm having this exact same issue for XP Pro and Win 7 Pro clients. I have WSUS in place as well if that helps....
