Recently something has occurred affecting the folder Libraries.
In it when I click on the documents folder in my libraries I get this message
“Documents.library – MS is no longer working
This library can be safely deleted from your computer. Folders that have been included will not be affected.”
This also goes for the Pictures, music, video folders in the Library folder in my explorer in Windows 8. I have tried deleting them as suggested and the contents have disappeared from the Libraries folder.
How do I restore these Library folders in Win 8 to working ones not flashing up error messages?

I too tried Vikrant Yadav's answer and it didn't work.
However, I discovered Method 1 works if you add one step.
If I took the (admittedly scary) step of deleting the libraries first (in my case it was all of them including an extra one I created for myself), "Restore Default Libraries" worked. For the default ones. I had to recreate my custom one.

This issue could be caused due to a corrupted system file. I would suggest you try these steps and check:
To fix the issue I would suggest you to follow the methods provided.
Method 1: Restore default Libraries
I would suggest you try the restore library option and check if it helps. Please back up all the files in the library before trying this, just to make sure you don’t lose any files. Refer these steps:
a) Open Windows explorer
b) In the left panel, locate Library and right click on it
c) Click “restore default libraries” option
d) Check if the issue persists.
Method 2: Rebuild Index
Windows indexes all files and folder for accessing any files or folder. If the index file is corrupted, it may result in such issue often. So I would suggest you to rebuild the index and check. You can refer these steps:
a) Press Windows key +F, type “index” in the search box
b) Click on the settings tab below the search box and select the “indexing options” tile
c) Check if the drive where you have installed the operating system is listed, if not click on the Modify button below
d) Check the box against the drive and expand it to make sure that the “users” is selected
e) Click OK to close the window
f) In the Indexing options window, click on “Advanced” button and click “rebuild”.

I followed all the steps above and my "Music" folder under libraries still reads "Music.library-ms" is no longer working. I don't want to delete and no longer have access to my music, so what am i supposed to do from here. I tried a system restore already, i again followed all the above tips. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Thank you for all assitance and advice.
I have tried all suggestions from all over. NONE WORK. My last resource, that work perfect, was restore each of the library manually. This is something not very professional but its easy to do, for doing correctly is very helpful to have another machine (I use my surface pro ) to check the properties to be reestablish in the same way just only add the folders that you need or want to use. Hope this solution helps meanwhile Microsoft gives a more professional solution for this irritating issue
Hi Rahul did you get any updates on this issue? I have also tried these suggestions with no luck. I have not altered anything on my computer, just switched it on one day and could not get into my documents, pictures etc. I can see my pictures on my start menu icon, and I have tried to import some new ones via my camera and it would not allow me to this. Any help anyone can provide would be appreciated and be kind as I am not very technical. Thank you. J
