I had this problem when I got my computer. I tried the above first, but that failed. Try clicking on the time in the lower right corner of your screen; a window should pop up and you should be able to set the correct time there.
Clock on windows 8 is wrong time, i tried setting to internet time but its still wrong, think theres a time clock bug, anyone have same problem for windows 8 and know how to fix it?

2013-08-16T13:48:19+00:00 In change timezone you've got an box where it says something like "automatic correct for summertime" (got Swedish edition not sure what it's called in English). Anyway check it if it is unchecked. It worked for me, it automatic changed to the right time.

2013-08-11T23:55:19+00:00 This was a great tip. I modified it the task scheduler to trigger at logon (rather than every ten minutes like the article suggest). The problem appears to be because I have dual boot and using GRUB to load Ubuntu 13.04 and Windows 8.
