how to export pictures from windows 8 computer to flash drive??????

I'm now using windows 8 and need to export pictures from my computer to a flash drive and can not figure out how? I went from XP to windows 8 so everything is new to me. HELP and THANKS

Hi,

Thank you for choosing Windows 8!

I would recommend you to follow the below given steps to transfer pictures from computer to a flash drive.

a. Plug-in the flash drive to the USB port on the computer

b. Select the pictures that you want transfer it to flash drive

c. Right click on the selected pictures and choose send to option

d. From the options, select the plugged-in USB

e. Pictures will be transferred to the flash drive

    you are right, William !  Ever since I got into Windows 8, it has done nothing but given me a headache.  And you are not given any choice if you want a new laptop or computer. I don't know why Microsoft thinks it made the gadget simpler.  Maybe what they have in mind are people who are as nerdy as they are, then they try to sell these to people who don't have time to go to school to study about what's behind the computer.  It really ends up to money making....more money making...more money making...

    If you are working with Picasa then pick the pictures you want and hold them in the bottom left hand corner; then send them to a new folder and then they can be sent from your new folder to your USB drive whose letter has  been given to you by your computer.
