hmm, I hold down the Crtl key and use the mouse wheel to resize desktop icons.
How do you resize desktop icons in Windows 8?
The icons on my desktop changed to a smaller size. I do not know what cause them to change size. How do I change their size back to what it was?
I have been unable to find any directions on sizing desktop icons for Windows 8.

Hi
The Desktop in Windows 8 works the same way it did in previous versions.
Right click an empty space on the Desktop.
Select the View option.
You shouild see 3 options for changing to Small, Medium, or Large Icons.

2015-05-21T16:00:17+00:00 Thanks for the advice, I have just started using Windows 8.1 and couldn't find out anywhere on Windows Help how to revert my desktop icons back to medium after they accidentally changed to LARGE. All fixed now.

You're welcome. Glad to help. But let me point out that you replied to
a message I sent over two years ago. I only happened to see your
reply. In general, it's not a good idea to reply to old messages. In
many cases, the person who sent it won't even be here any longer and
will never see your reply.
