The icons on my desktop changed to a smaller size. I do not know what cause them to change size. How do I change their size back to what it was?

I have been unable to find any directions on sizing desktop icons for Windows 8.

Hi

The Desktop in Windows 8 works the same way it did in previous versions.

Right click an empty space on the Desktop.

Select the View option.

You shouild see 3 options for changing to Small, Medium, or Large Icons.

Regards

I accidentally enlarged all my icons and the Word toolbar while in word.  The ctrl, mouse wheel option did not change anything.  The ctrl, alt, - has fixed my icons but my toolbar is still have the screen when I open word.  Any suggestions there?  and is there a way to keep this from happening again?
