The icons on my desktop changed to a smaller size. I do not know what cause them to change size. How do I change their size back to what it was?

I have been unable to find any directions on sizing desktop icons for Windows 8.

Hi

The Desktop in Windows 8 works the same way it did in previous versions.

Right click an empty space on the Desktop.

Select the View option.

You shouild see 3 options for changing to Small, Medium, or Large Icons.

Regards

well can actually hold down the Alt and Control keys and press the minus (-) or the plus (+) to resize the icons. this is especially good when you're working on a touch screen laptop like I am. these things are very wonky like, when u type and even graze the touch pad u wind up with the curser jumping to a different line or to an entirely different box. I'm a mac guy so this is really annoying. my MacBook pro touch pad NEVER does that, ever. and the swipe gesture to go back and forward through pages doesn't even exist.  sometimes when I boot up the icons are super huge. like 6 icons take up the entire desktop. must find out why that's happening. good luck man!!!
