"application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware"

recently every time i use a program that use my gpu( I have optimus technology so it switch when needed etc...) I get the error message " application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware", the internet does not seem to be very helpful about this problem, does anybody know what causes it/how i can fix it ????

    Try changing all the settings to application settings in graphic properties.

    Does not mean its not a Windows issue. improper driver installation still can be related to Windows easily.

    It never happened in XP because there was no hardware check like windows vista + has.

    Check your manufacturers website, under support, download drivers and software,  and it should show up.
