How to mount an ISO image with Windows 8?

I'm using Windows 8 Pro x64.

How do I mount an ISO file in WIndows 8?

I right click on the ISO file and the menu that pops up does not give me a Mount option. At the top of the menu it says Play. There is not a mount option anywhere in the menu. I looked in the Open With option but Mount is not there either.

Did you try the following?.

Right-click an .iso file > Properties > click "Change" under the "General" tab > click on "Windows Explorer" > OK

Then when I do the Windows Explorer thing, the dialogue boxes are missing. Separate to that, the 'permissions' appear to be for Microsoft only, though I'm the user/Admin, and grayed out which is good since I don't know what to do.

Just want to make a copy of the ISOburn.exe file on USB. Not sell it beside Microsoft Windows:

Let's take this a step further. I want to copy an ISO image containing a DVD (video) onto an SD card, put the SD card in my Surface RT, and play the DVD using some native program that comes with the Surface (probably the Xbox Video app). Is this all possible?

You are asking a stone bowl made of gold! When you mount a drive, it is designated with an unique drive letter.
