Nokia Suite Support for Nokia 301

Hello

Does anyone know what the official Nokia position is regarding Nokia Suite supporting the Noklia 301?  I'd like to be able to sync music, install any future firmware upgrades etc etc without needing to use a mobile data connection.  If Nolkia aren;t going to upgrade Nokia Suite to support the 301 is there going to be an alternative?

    :smileymad:Nobody can explain this Nokia policy, but for me the "old" Nokia suite 3.5.34 worked fine with the new Nokia Black 301 !? Thanks for the tip

    hi folk, we just got 301s among other phones in our firm.

    our data support found PC SUITE 7.1.180.94 (i don't know where they did as nor nokia staff nor google seem knowing anything about it ...). it does  the job exactly the same as for the old N series nokias.

    If you subscribe to that thread, you get notified, when something new happens – perhaps this way you get notified about other solutions, as well.

    There are other options like editing your configuration settings. Therefore, please append your question to one of the existing threads and mention your GSM network operator, because that is related to this Wi-Fi issue. Furthermore, mention the error message(s) which you face word-for-word.

    Instead Nokia Suite, for these purposes you may use some newer version of MOBILedit! Connect your phone to your PC with a Connectivity Cable, do not use Bluetooth connection.

    With my new Nokia 301 Dual SIM I use MOBILedit! 6.9.

    I encounter same problems as above but with asha 501, I have tried the suites proposed above for 301 and 515 but without success. I am not able to connect via wifi or bluetooth as well, I have been trying already multiple options. The USB cable synchronization is also not possible.

    In my opinion this phone could not be synchronized with Nokia software, what is indeed a shot in the knee for a Nokia.

    I managed to add +150 contacts by importing them, file by file, as .vcf files over the USB. It cost me over two hours, and I am not sure if I imported everything.

    Somebody here is suggesting to reset the phone to bring at least wifi to work. It would mean I would have to add the contacts again, as I can not synchro with wifi anyway. This is ridiculous.   

    My 2-days experience with Nokia is over now, I will give the phone back tomorrow to the retailer.

    It is definitely not worth >90 eur, which it costs now, and most of all is not worth my time.
