• Office Outlook on your computer (via USB or Bluetooth; last tested version: 2013)
  1. on your computer, install the Nokia Connectivity Driver (7.1.182.0)
  2. on your computer, install the latest Nokia Suite, which installs the PC Connectivity Solution (12.0.109.0)
  3. on your computer, uninstall (only) the Nokia Suite via Windows » Start » Control Panel » Software » Nokia Suite
  4. on your computer, install an old version of the Nokia Suite
  5. (optionally for Upload-to-SkyDrive/OneDrive) download ssleay32.dll and replace at C:\Program Files (x86)\Nokia\Nokia Suite\
  6. Nokia 301 » Menu » Settings » Connectivity » USB data cable » Modem mode

If your contact database and calander are cloud based already, either use:

• OMA SyncML DS

If you want to backup your phone, use either:

A) Nokia 301 » Menu » Settings » Sync and backup » Create backup,

B) old version of the Nokia Suite with latest Nokia Connectivity Driver, or 

C) PC Suite 7 with latest Nokia Connectivity Driver

In the PC Suite 7, the PC Sync app is blocked by CRC checks. Consequently, the synchronisation with Outlook does not work with the PC Suite 7. Anyone with a hack for that? Please report if you have any issues! We try to fix those together.
