the application is unable to start correctly 0xc0000005 after windows update

Hello, today, after windows 7 x64 update itself and reboot most of all my applications cant start and crash with error 0xc0000005. 

In "installed updates" I see a lot of Security update for Microsoft .Net Framework Client profile installed today, but I cant Uninstall them, click Uninstall, then I see "Setup.exe *32" in the task manager, then receive an error "An error occurred while trying to uninstall <update name>. It may have already been uninstalled" :(

Also I make a system restore, but without any result :(

Any ideas?

How can I manually remove this updates? Registry cleaning or something else?

You have hacked or infected files on your computer.

Check your BCD and do the below fix if necessary (at your own risk) 

In Windows open CMD as Administrator and type BCDEdit and enter,  if your Windows Boot Loader Path is xOsload.exe then you need to remove some files and repair your BCD.

NOTE:  you will need to re-activate Windows afterwards, so make sure you have your Windows 7 key handy.

Boot to Windows Repair - Command

Del D:\Windows\System32\xOsload.exe

Del D:\Windows\System32\xNtKrnl.exe

Del D:\Windows\System32\Drivers\oem-drv64.sys

attrib c:\boot\bcd -h -r -s

ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old

bootrec /rebuildbcd

    OK, I think this will fix it.

    First of all, if your System Restore is working then just use that to go back to before the recent updates, if it's not working then try this.

     

    1. Disconnect from the internet  
    2. Open Control Panel
    3. Open Program & Features
    4. Click "View installed updates" on the left-hand side
    5. Find "Security update for Microsoft Windows (KB2859537)" under the Microsoft Windows section
    6. Uninstall that update and restart you PC (may take a very-VERY long time to configure)
    7. Go to Windows Updates and hide  (KB2859537)
    8. Reconnect to the internet
    9. Fix your System Restore feature; You might have to remove a fake C: drive and enable System Restore on the correct Windows drive.

    hi steve, i'm having the same problem too, i tryed to reinstall the system 2 times but the problem after 1 week starts to happens again, but i didn't found this update installed here... it could be another update causing this problem?

    I did not have the mentioned  Security update KB2859537, but wnet to see what were the last security updates, and started to uninstall them one by one:

    KB2853952, KB2876315, KB2872339 

    After the uninstallation of the last update,  the PC started to react but not properly, hence I tried to uninstall also the last security update of today  KB2870699.

    Unfortunately the uninstallation of  KB2870699 endured more than  15 minutes, I cancelled it.

    The PC seems to react properly.

    I still have 16 updates including those that I uninstalled.

    This seems a real mess.

    also hid the KB2859537 update and now after updates on 12/09 it gives the same error

    I Checked the BCD and tried following the steps but i can't do these steps:

    Del D:\Windows\System32\xOsload.exe

    Del D:\Windows\System32\xNtKrnl.exe

    Del D:\Windows\System32\Drivers\oem-drv64.sys

    attrib c:\boot\bcd -h -r -s

    ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old

    bootrec /rebuildbcd

    it says the system cannot find the path specified.

    and what is the attrib and ren things? you also put these in the cmd? sorry i am not an expert ...

    When you checked your BCD was Windows Boot Loader Path xOsload.exe?   If it is then do the following.

    1. Print these instructions
    2. restart your computer and keep tapping F8 until you get the boot options on the screen, choose "repair your computer", select your country and an admin account.
    3. Go to "Command Prompt"

    4.  Check which drive your Windows is installed on, if you have 2 hard-drives then your Windows drive might be E:

    type:

    D:

    dir

    You should see a Windows directory, if you don't then try C: or E:

    5.  Type each of these lines, making sure you use the correct letter for your Windows drive:

    Del D:\Windows\System32\xOsload.exe

    Del D:\Windows\System32\xNtKrnl.exe

    Del D:\Windows\System32\Drivers\oem-drv64.sys

    attrib c:\boot\bcd -h -r -s

    ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old

    bootrec /rebuildbcd

    1. restart your computer

    7. re-activate your Windows
