Nokia Lumia 920 touch screen not working

Hey, I have a problem with the touchscreen on my 920 I cant do anything with the touchscreen. The sidebuttons work perfectly. I have made several hardresets(Holding down all side buttons). Nothing is working. The store i bought it from said it should be send in for repair. But im wondering if there is any fix that you now off?

When you attempted these resets can you explain what you did as holding down all buttons aint one of them.

For starter the store you bought it from should replace the handset if its withing the timeframe.

SOFT RESET

Press and hold the power- and volume-down buttons pressed simultaneously for ten seconds. The phone should then vibrate and reboot.

HARD RESET

Press and hold the power-, volume-down- and camera buttons until the phone vibrates. Then release the power-button and keep the other two buttons pressed for another five seconds.

    I have been driving in the rain on my motorcycle this weekend. My Nokia 920 was stored in one of the pockets on the outside of my backpack. The phone felt a bit humid, but not really wet.

    At home, I took the phone out and it felt warm, as if the battery was heating up. Soon I found out after booting the phone that the touchscreen did not function at all. After reading about soft and hard resets, I did this many times, but without any success. All other functions seemed to work. Even by pressing the camera button I could stil take pictures. So this afternoon I went to youtube to look for some help. I saw how to dismantle the phone. I thought, if I do not try something I have to buy a new phone anyway, so I followed the instructions up to how to take the battery out. I was doing this outside the house, it was sunny and warm. I carefully took a napkin to 'dry' all these miniature connection plugs inside the phone (so all the contectors that I touched when dismantling the phone), and I reassembled the phone again, put the simcard back in, and did a hard reset (press soundkey, on/off key, camerakey all at the same time and wait until the phone starts trembling, indicating that the hard reset has been activated/completed). l the phone switched on and the touchscreen was working again!!!

    You do need to buy a couple of Torx screw drivers (the youtube video said), but I only used 1 single Torx screw drive to take 2 (outside) and 1 inside screw out. So if you want to repeat what I did (get the battery out and disconnect it from the phone, clean/dry the connections, and reassemble), 1 Torx screw driver will do.

    my Lumia 920 windows 8.1 felt on its screen and the torch and screen not working. I tried all the hard reset but still not working. I ordered new screen and torch complete set and on eBay, installed it but to no avail. Please help me with your expertise.

    Same thing happened to me suddenly

    I did the soft reset many times.

    but after see this post i did the hard reset.

    It solved my problems.
