MSVCP100.dll Missing.

Hi, I am getting an error message on startup that says 'The program can't start because MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer.Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.' Can anyone please help me and throw some light on the above-mentioned problem ?

I upgraded from W8.1 to W10. Some programmes didn't start because of the missing MSVCP100.dll  and MSVCR100.dll file. But they exist on the Windows folder. So they where not missing at all.

Installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 didn't help for me. I found out that some users installed Itunes again. With successful results. I do no use Itunes, so I installed the latest version of Adobe Reader (that has nothing to do with the problem, the 'previous' Adobe reader worked perfect). After the installation of the latest version, the other programes worked fine then. Seems that the installation activated the .dll files again.

This happened to me as a result of installing Windows 10.  Hope there is an easy fix.

Which version of MSVC do you install if you have windows 10? This happened to me after i installed windows 10 and it wouldn't even let me open my Virus Protection Application.
